B. Camera and Image Data
To provide our core visual learning features, Blubo requires access to your device's camera.
- Purpose: To identify real-world objects and generate flashcards.
- Processing: Images are transmitted securely to our AI providers for immediate analysis.
- Retention: We do not store your raw photos permanently. Once the object is identified, the original image is discarded, and only the generated learning material (word, translation, pronunciation) is saved to your account.
3. How We Store and Process Data
Location: Your data is hosted securely within the European Union (EU). We use Cloudflare services to ensure high security, speed, and reliability.
Security Measures: We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. We minimize data storage to what is strictly necessary for the App's functionality.
4. Third-Party Services
We utilize trusted third-party service providers to facilitate specific functions of the App:
- RevenueCat & Google Play: For managing subscriptions and processing payments. We do not store your credit card information or banking details directly; these are handled securely by the respective payment processors.
- AI Service Providers: We use third-party AI APIs (such as OpenAI or Google Gemini) for image recognition and text-to-speech synthesis. These providers process data solely for the purpose of fulfilling your request.
