1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Blubo Consulting, MB ("we," "us," or "Blubo"), a company registered in Lithuania (Company Code: 307463598).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Blubo mobile application ("App") and its services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. Description of Service

Blubo is an AI-powered visual learning platform that helps users build vocabulary by recognizing real-world objects through their device's camera.

  • Core Features: Object recognition, flashcard generation, pronunciation guides, and progress tracking.
  • AI Technology: The service relies on third-party Artificial Intelligence models (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini) to generate translations and definitions.
  • Service Availability: We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance or third-party outages.

3. User Accounts

Registration

You agree to provide accurate information (username, email) during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, or remain inactive for an extended period (over 2 years).

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Blubo offers both free and paid ("Pro") tiers. Payments are processed securely via Google Play Store or RevenueCat.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation: You must manage or cancel subscriptions directly through your Google Play Store settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.
  • Refunds: As payments are processed by the app store, refund requests must be submitted directly to Google Play according to their refund policies.

5. AI Transparency & Disclaimer

Content generated by Blubo (translations, definitions, example sentences) is created by Artificial Intelligence.

  • AI outputs may occasionally contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies ("hallucinations").
  • You should verify critical information independently.
  • Blubo is not liable for any misunderstandings or learning errors caused by AI-generated content.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Upload or capture content that is illegal, offensive, pornographic, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App's infrastructure or APIs.
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Rights: The Blubo App, including its design, code, branding ("Blubo"), and algorithms, is the exclusive property of Blubo Consulting, MB.

Your Rights: You retain ownership of the photos you capture. However, by using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process these images to provide the learning service (e.g., to identify the object).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blubo Consulting, MB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vilnius, Lithuania.
